This is a gorgeous 50s/60s cocktail dress by Amelia Gray who had an upscale boutique in Beverly Hills back then, frequented by celebs including Nancy Reagan. This dress is from her own line.
It is sleeveless and has a long silhouette that reaches the ankle. The entire dress is gold brocade on the exterior. It has a decorative bow at the waist and a large center pleat down the front skirt, revealing smooth gold satin underneath. The dress is very well constructed and has a back zip closure. It actually has double zippers. The second zipper is at waist and is hidden.
Recommended size: 6, small
There are a couple of minor issues.
1) There are a couple of faint brown spots, one above the left bust and the other at the waist. You might be able to see it in the last image but unless it’s pointed out, it’s really not visible and is camouflaged by the texture of the brocade.
2) The hem of the interior satin skirt is a little frayed. Minor and not noticeable when worn.
Aside from that, the dress is in excellent condition and is extremely well constructed.
